Innocent Chaos was started way back in 2008 when Textile artist Sharon Hay graduated with a first-class honours degree in fine and applied art with Textiles from The University of Ulster, Belfast.

With a love of designing and crafting, Sharon knew that a creative career was definitely on the cards for her. After a year working in sales and designing a range of fashion jewellery, Sharon packed up the Innocent Chaos collection and headed for the bright lights of London for her first trade fair. Overnight success at Top Drawer instantly grew the business, selling as far as Japan, America and across many parts of Europe.

In 2010 Sharon began to sway the new designs into the bridal sector and instantly fell in love for all things weddings! With alternative bridal bouquets made from brooches, buttons, silk flowers and precious keepsakes, Innocent Chaos quickly developed a unique style and reputation in the NI bridal industry.

In 2017 Innocent Chaos opened their first online store which extended their client base on a global scale and opened many creative doors.

With the success online and a growing business, 2018 was the year to take the plunge and open a design studio in Portview Trade Centre, Belfast. In December 2020 after a difficult year navigating covid, Sharon upgraded her studio to a bigger space and continued to expand her range, to offer hand crafted faux bouquets for homes and business as well as the wedding range.

The Belfast studio is situated in a beautiful old Linen Mill surrounded by many other creative businesses. Sharon welcomes clients to the studio on the Newtownards Road by appointment or you can visit on Fridays between 10am - 4pm.

At the studio you can view all the Innocent Chaos collections and bring your own vase to fill with beautiful faux stems.

We look forward to seeing you soon in the studio!
